Dear Universe, I want it to rain flowers-(day 4)

A response to a group poem begun by Hitomi Mochizuki

Dear Universe,

I want it to rain flowers                             – Hitomi Mochizuki

Because the sky once rained dust

and it became men

so what would we be now

with petals for our ribs

and

dandy for our cheeks

instead of broken cosmic dust

that never really did live                            –  Jessica Chen
